Anggun : Apik dan berwibawa (tentang bangun, tingkah laku, gaya, dan sebagainya).
Halus : Mempunyai sifat yang lemah lembut, baik ketika berbicara maupun bertindak.
Elok : Baik hati; tidak jahat (tentang kelakuan, budi pekerti)
Ketika kecantikan hanya dimaknai dengan hal-hal yang bersifat fisik, maka kecantikan tersebut hanya akan bersifat sementara.
Bagaimana apabila kita menemui seorang wanita yang cantik rupanya tetapi budi pekertinya jelas, tutur bahasanya kasar dan tingkah lakunya jauh dari kata anggun. Kebanyakan orang akan menghindar dari wanita seperti itu.
Kalau kita perhatikan, di film-film, seorang putri raja atau ratu selalu digambarkan Anggun, Elok dan Halus. Karena memang itulah makna Cantik yang sesungguhnya.
